Brief History:

Rose was born to Jackie and Pete Tyler on April 27, 1987. When she was six months old, Pete was killed in a hit-and-run while going to a friend's wedding, resulting in Jackie to raise Rose by herself. Rose went to Jericho Street Junior School, where she was a member of the under-seven gymnastics team, and won a bronze medal in a competition. For Christmas when she was twelve years old, Rose was given red bicycle, which the Doctor would later imply that he had done this for her himself.

While she was at school, Rose and her friend Shareen would skip classes intentionally to go shopping and look at boys. She left school, not taking her A-Levels, and later blaming a boy by the name of Jimmy Stone. But Rose later recalled that she hated every minute of school. She began seeing Mickey Smith at the age of 14, and at 15 she was suspended from Jericho Street Comprehensive for persuading the choir to go on strike. After she did poorly on her GCSE exams, she left to go live with Jimmy Stone, but returned home to Jackie and Mickey heartbroken and in debt. It was then that Jackie called in a favor to an ex-boyfriend and got Rose a job at Henrik's department store.

By this time, Rose was 19, and was living with Jackie at the Powell Estates in South London, still working at Henrik's as a shop assistant. It was at that department store that Rose had encountered several shop-window dummies coming to life in the basement of the shop. Though she had suspected that this was somebody's idea of a practical joke, the mannequins were actually Autons controlled by the Nestene Consciousness. As they approached her, a strange man took her hand, helped her escape from the store, told her to run for her life, and proceeded to destroy the building. She searched on the internet for more information as to who this man was after that night, and found Clive Finch, a man that was keeping track of the Doctor's appearances on Earth. In the end, Rose helped the Doctor find the Nestene Consciousness, and when the Doctor was being held by two of the mannequins, she had used her gymnastic skills to save him. With the Earth saved, Rose left behind Mickey and Jackie to travel with the Doctor in the TARDIS.

Aboard Platform One, Rose witnessed the Earth being swallowed by the Sun in the year five billion, which was her first real trip on the TARDIS. The Doctor had modified her mobile phone to where it would be able to communicate throughout time and space among other functions, to which Rose later nicknamed it her 'Superphone'. Rose has traveled with the Doctor in both his Ninth and Tenth incarnations and has encountered Daleks, the Gelth, Empty Children, Reapers, Slitheen, Sycorax, a werewolf, and Cybermen, just to name a few of the aliens that she and the Doctor had defeated.

During the battle of Canary Wharf in the Torchwood Institute (Torchwood One), Rose had refused to leave the Doctor to face the Cybermen and Daleks by himself. Because of this action, she sacrificed herself to make sure that the two alien races were gone into the void. An alternate version of Pete had rescued her and brought her into the other reality, but Rose was separated from the Doctor.

Rose was living with Pete, Jackie, and Mickey in their home in the alternate dimension when she was receiving dream-like contact from the Doctor, which guided her to DÃ¥lig Ulv Stranden in Norway, which translates to Bad Wolf Bay. It was there that she and the Doctor were able to say their final goodbyes. Rose had informed the Doctor that Jackie was pregnant, and that she was working for Torchwood in the alternate world. With little time left, she finally confesses her true love for him, but when he opens his mouth to say his feelings, the TARDIS signal is cut off, leaving Rose standing on the beach crying while Jackie comforted her.
